Pattern Easter Bunny Pascal

ABBREVIATIONS

  • ch = chain stitch
  • dec = decrease
  • FO = fasten off
  • inc = increase
  • mm = millimeter(s)
  • mr = magic ring

  • rep = repeat
  • rnd(s)= round(s)
  • sc = single crochet

  • Continuous round: Knit all followed, without closing the rounds.
  • Joined round: Go closing every rounds and climb to the next turn with a chain.
  • Worked in Rows: Crochet in a base of chains and turning the crochet at the end each row.

  • Yarn (for crochet hooks 3 – 3,5mm/~ 2mm wide)

Don’t stuff. FO, leaving a long tail. For the inside, use the reference crochet ears and cut in pink felt a smaller base than the crochet ear. Sew with pink thread with care that the seam is not passed to the outer side of the crochet ear.

Fill well only to Rnd.10. Leave waiting to continue then the rest of the thigh. Now let’s help shape the leg/thigh. Stop filling and put together both parts of what the thigh would be. At the same time, put your finger inside and push it on the foot so that it is the fold of the bottom of the thigh. Sew with yarn white in Rnd.12 approximately. Tying inside to secure it. Returne the thigh crochet.

Description 
Make with white yarn a pompom of approximately 4cm. 

EYES x2

Description 
Cut:
– 2 circles of black felt 14mm.
– 2 circles of white felt 6mm.
– 2 circles of white felt 3mm.
Assemble the eyes with glue: 
1 circle of 6mm and 1 circle of 3mm in one of the black circles. Repeat for the other eye. Guide with the images.

CHEEKS x2

Description 
Cut 2 circles of 9mm pink felt.

EGGS x3

Worked in joined round – 2mm Hook
One in each color: Light Blue – Green – Yellow

FO. Sew one strip on each side of the basket (it is preferable, before sewing, try with the bunny to fit them well). Embroider flowers of different colors if you wish.

 ASSEMBLE
1.- Embroider the centered nose with yarn pink between Rnds.1 and 4 (counting from the thin part of the head). Make a triangle to embroider it.
2.- Glue the eyes to the head between Rnds.16 and 18 (counting from the back of the head) and leaving 10sc. of distance between them.
3.- Glue the cheeks to the head between Rnds.18 and 19 (counting from the back of the head) and leaving 2sc. of distance from the eyes.
4.- Sew the legs to the body. Use ref. to sew the upper thigh, the Rnd.14 counting from the top, and the lower thigh, use ref. the Rnd.9 counting from the bottom. Sew around the entire thigh.
5.- Sew the arms to the body, forward and between Rnds.6 to 9 (counting from the top).
6.- Sew the head to the body between Rnd.12 counting from the nose (front part). Take for reference the Rnd.10 counting from the back part.
7.- Sew the ears to the head (a little diagonally) between Rnds.8 and 10 counting from the back part. Leaving 8sc. of distance between them.
8.- Sew the pompom between Rnds.12 and 16, centered with the thighs.
NOTE 1: To make the assembly, always follow the instructions and the images. It will be much easier to understand the steps.
NOTE 2: If you don’t want to glue the pieces of felt, you can sew them as an alternative!
